Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Eventex ("we") collects, processes, and protects your personal data when you use eventex.sa and any of its institution subdomains, in compliance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations issued by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

Account data: name, email, password (encrypted), institution/affiliation.

Scientific participation data: submitted abstracts, review scores, field of expertise.

Conference registration data: for conferences that require it, we may collect your national ID or Iqama number for one specific purpose: enabling the hosting institution to submit attendance and CME-hours data to the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties ("Mustamir" platform) when applicable. This number is only collected for conferences that explicitly require it.

Payment data: Eventex never stores card numbers or sensitive payment data on its own servers — this data is processed directly by SAMA-licensed payment service providers.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, login logs, for security and abuse-prevention purposes.

To perform our contract with you (operating your account, enabling conference registration and participation).

To comply with a legal obligation (such as submitting attendance data to the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties when required).

For legitimate interest (improving the Platform, preventing fraud and abuse, necessary operational communication).

With your explicit consent when required (e.g. optional marketing messages, if introduced in the future).

The institution/society organizing the conference you participate in or register for — receives only the data necessary to manage your participation (registration, review, certificates).

SAMA-licensed payment service providers, solely for processing payments.

The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, exclusively when submitting attendance/CME-hours data for conferences that require it.

Eventex does not sell your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes, and does not share it beyond the above except under a legal or judicial order.

Platform data is hosted on servers within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (SCCC — Riyadh), in line with the Personal Data Protection Law's requirements on data processing location.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active, and for an additional period afterward as necessary to meet legal obligations (such as financial records) or resolve an ongoing dispute, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Under the Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to: access your data, request correction, request deletion (within legal limits), withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing, and file a complaint with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).
